Welcome New Undergraduates!

We have several new team members joining us this summer, and we would would just like to take this time to welcome them!  They are all joining the lab as Undergraduate researchers, and we are so excited to have them.
Amanda Liew is a rising senior Biology Major at Georgia Tech.  Amanda is currently exploring techniques of immunohistology to interpret data in the context of biologically relevant mechanisms.
Michelle Lin is a rising senior at Georgia Tech as a Biomedical Engineering. Michelle is creating equipment automation to increase research experiment efficiency.

Arielle Margulies is a rising third year, also working towards her BS in Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech. Arielle is working on integrating a pressure sensor into the current DCS probe model, in order to improve repeatability and ease of use.

January 2017 Updates

Happy New Year from the Buckley Lab! We have started the year off strong with lots of exciting research as well as a new addition to the lab. Corey Zheng, Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at Georgia Tech, has joined the lab as a Petit Undergraduate Research Scholar! Welcome, Corey!

Additionally, we welcome baby Cora McGuire Yunker into the Buckley Lab family! Cora was born November 5th, 2016 at 7lb 3oz. Future scientist right here!

Fall 2016 – Exciting Updates

Fall 2016 has been a whirlwind of activity! Dr. Paul Lee, who received his PhD in BME from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, has joined our lab as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. Patrick Ledwig, who received his undergraduate degree from University of Texas, Austin, has joined our lab as a Graduate Student. Welcome to them both!

Even more exciting news – we will soon be welcoming a new baby girl into the Buckley lab family! The Emory BME department threw a baby shower in HSRB to celebrate the imminent new arrival. Congratulations Erin!
